One of the most interesting phenomenas to transpire in modern Jewish history is the phenomena of how so many Jews around the world are going out and getting tattooed. There has never been such a massive phenomena quite like this in almost the entire breadth of Jewish history and what makes this so interesting is the fact that tattoos and tattooing have been utterly and completely anathema to Jews and Judaism and Jewish cultural and national identity, since time immemorial.
